 Membership Information

With over 2,500 nurses living in Marion County, we have an opportunity to be one of the most active groups for improving the health and safety of our community.  Through participation in this organization, you can make a difference.  Please join us for education, networking, and change.

Regular full membership is available to any licensed nurses who are interested and a member of the FNA.  Members of the FNA/ANA are not required to pay additional fees.  Your membership in the MCNA/FNA District 3 is included as part of your annual dues to the FNA/ANA.  To join the FNA/ANA, please go to this website: https://www.floridanurse.org/memberApp.asp

Associate membership is available to non-FNA member RNs and ARNPs, LPNs, and nursing students.  Associate members may not vote, hold any office, or be delegated to FNA conventions.  However, they will be offered opportunities to participate in CEU activities, local nursing events, and committees.

Membership Benefits

  • Membership provides the nurse with the opportunity to network with other nurses.
  • It fosters the development of one voice in concerns common to all nurses and provides a vehicle to express our concerns via community activities.
  • The website will be updated on a monthly basis updating local and national nursing activities and announcing educational events.
  • Reduced tuition for full (FNA3) members offered to all MCNA seminars and educational events.
  • Funds collected from membership dues are used to support MCNA/FNA3 educational activities (district meetings and annual conference).
